PURCHASE & INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS
BID OPENING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2026, AT 11:00AM
ADVERTISEMENT
The City of East Providence is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors, equipment manufacturers, and licensed electrical contractors to furnish, deliver, install, and network six (6) commercial-grade Dual-Port Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. The project location is the new Community Center located at 610 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914.

One (1) original, one (1) copy and 1 Thumb Drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2026, AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded that same day in Conference Room 306, located on the third floor of East Providence City Hall. Bids received at a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFP EP26/27-01 PURCHASE & INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality in order to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
