Fiscal Policy & Transactions 

In accordance with the provisions of Article V, Section 13,  of the City Charter, the Mayor and City Clerk certify the adoption of the city's fiscal budget which begins each year on November 1 and ends on October 31.

In accordance with the provisions of Article V, Section 13,  of the City Charter, the Mayor and City Clerk certify the adoption of the city's fiscal budget which begins each year on November 1 and ends on October 31. 

City of East Providence Annual Audits 

In accordance with the provisions of Article II, Section 2-15, of the City Charter, the Council shall cause to be made an annual independent audit of the books, accounts and other such evidences of financial transactions of the City.

Pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 38-2-3(d), the City of East Providence has instituted the following procedure to help you request/obtain public records:

Council Meetings Minutes & Video

The City Council determines policy for City government by resolution, ordinance and adoption of the City budget. The Council is instrumental in assisting citizens with questions and complaints regarding the workings of City government.
