EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The East Providence Recreation Department announces a 6-week “Yoga in the Park” class, an all-level Vinyasa yoga series that links movement with breath, creating a steady rhythmic practice that builds strength, flexibility, and balance.
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - New commemorative pole banners honoring Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots buried in East Providence are being installed throughout the city as part of the community’s ongoing semiquincentennial celebrations.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The City of East Providence’s 250 Commission will be hosting a Liberty Tree Planting Ceremony in cooperation with the Office of the Rhode Island Secretary of State and Preserve Rhode Island. Liberty Tree plantings have, and will be held, across Rhode Island’s 39 cities and towns to mark the Semiquincentennial (250th) anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Shows are weather permitting and take place at Crescent Park located at 701 Bullocks Point Avenue in Riverside. Concerts are held on Thursday evenings from June 4 – August 20, 2026 and start at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.
