East Providence announces RFEOI for Oldham School Small Business Incubator Project - Building & Site Development
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the Victory Day holiday there will be no rubbish, recycling or yard waste collection on Monday, August 11, 2025. Monday’s rubbish, recycling and yard waste will be collected on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 and rubbish, recycling and yard waste collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. Residents are asked to have rubbish, recycling and yard waste containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.

The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that they will be co-hosting with RI Resource Recovery a free Eco-Depot event on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Public Works Complex located at 60 Commercial Way.
Household hazardous waste is anything labeled with a skull and crossbones, or words like ‘toxic’, ‘poison’, flammable’, combustible’, etc. Examples include paint, pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals, cleaners, mercury devices, gasoline, and polishers. Fluorescents are also accepted.
