EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The East Providence Department of Recreation is currently accepting applications for the Dorman “Dolly” Searle Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to city residents who are graduating seniors of an accredited high school. Mr. Searle was a long-time East Providence municipal employee who dedicated himself to the development of youth in this community. Awards in the amount of $1,000.00 are available.
