EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the July 4th Independence Day Holiday observance on Monday, July 6, 2026 there will be no rubbish or yard waste collection. Monday’s rubbish, and yard waste will be collected on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, and the rest of the week will be delayed a day. Residents are asked to have containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.
Bulky item collection will still be collected on Friday, July 10, 2026.
