East Providence, RI – East Providence residents now have a new option for disposing of used sharps devices such as needles, syringes, lancets, and razors. Two sharps disposal units were installed within the public restrooms of Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave. The East Providence Fire Department and the East Providence Public Library, with support from the East Providence Prevention Coalition (EPPC), have collaborated to protect public health, reduce risk, address environmental concerns, and protect plumbing systems.

This Is To Notify And Warn The Legally Qualified Electors Of The City Of East Providence, That The Primary Election Shall Be Held On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024

The Polls Will Be Open From 7:00 AM To 8:00 PM
EARLY VOTING SHALL COMMENCE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2024 EARLY VOTING CAN ONLY BE DONE AT EAST PROVIDENCE CITY HALL AT 145 TAUNTON AVE, EAST PROVIDENCE, RI IN THE FIRST FLOOR LOBBY DURING THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE MONDAY, TUESDAY, AND WEDNESDAY 8AM-4PM, THURDAY 8AM-6PM, FRIDAY 8AM-1PM.

Mattress and/or box spring, two pieces or one set, per household, are collected on scheduled Saturdays by appointment only. Fee for curbside collection is $25 each piece. Residents can schedule a pick-up by submitting a service request or calling the Recycling Office at 401-435-7701. Mattress collections can be scheduled during March through December. No collections in January and February.
