Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Workshop

The Hazard Mitigation Plan is a FEMA requirement that ensures that we are eligible for certain FEMA non-disaster grants, a couple of which are currently active. An approved plan also maintains FEMA compliance with regard to our enrollment in the National Flood Insurance Plan, and the Community Rating System program which provides a 10% Federal flood insurance discount for our policy holders in the floodplain.

This meeting will be held on Wednesday October 7 at 6:00 pm at the Fuller Creative Leaning Center and will be moderated by our consultant, Horsley Witten Group
