East Providence Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks - Pierce Memorial Field

  • Gates open at 6 PM 
  • Music Begins at 6:30 PM 
  • Fireworks Display at 9:30 PM

TRAFFIC AND VEHICLE CONGESTION PRIOR TO AND FOLLOWING EVENTS AT PIERCE FIELD

 

Preceding the Pierce Field Celebration and Fireworks

No Parking and One Way traffic signs will be posted in the area surrounding Pierce Field

Do not block driveways or intersections

All streets must be accessible to emergency vehicles

Violators of parking restrictions will be subject to ticketing and/or towing

 

Proceeding the fireworks

ALL traffic exiting the area from Fifth Street will only be allowed to turn right (north) onto Veterans Memorial Parkway

ALL traffic exiting the area from Lyon Avenue will only allowed to turn left (south) onto Veterans Memorial Parkway

ALL northbound traffic on Veterans Memorial Parkway will be directed onto South Broadway

ALL southbound traffic on South Broadway must turn left onto Veterans Memorial Parkway

There will be NO northbound traffic on Veterans Memorial Parkway between South Broadway and Fifth Street

 

Several Police officers will be at these locations and major intersections to assist with traffic flow. Please be patient during this time.
