SEASONAL/SUMMER LABORERS
$15.00 per hour – TEMPORARY POSITION
Job Description: East Providence DPW is seeking temporary seasonal/summer laborers with experience performing manual labor for its Highway and Parks Departments. Seasonal work beginning in May for approximately 12 weeks; Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Duties include mostly working outdoors and assisting with Parks preservation and clean up, grass cutting, shrub trimming, trash pick-up, sweeping and other work as assigned. Will assist with any and all DPW Laborer position responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have the physical aptitude to perform the job and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Candidates will be required to pass a physical, back and drug screen and BCI (background check).
Examination Weight: 100% ORAL
