Seasonal/Summer Laborers

CITY OF EAST PROVIDENCE SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (PARKS) SEASONAL/SUMMER LABORERS $13.00 per hour East Providence DPW is seeking temporary seasonal/summer laborers with experience performing manual labor for its Highway, and Parks Departments. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Seasonal work beginning in May for approximately 12 weeks; Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Duties include mostly working outdoors and assisting with Parks preservation and clean-up, grass cutting, shrub trimming, trash pick-up, sweeping. Will assist with any and all DPW Laborer position responsibilities. Must have the physical aptitude to perform the job and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
