The New Providence Big Band is a 17 piece band playing everything from 'In the Mood' era music to Stevie Wonder's 'Sir Duke' (arranged by Chris Walden). Our featured vocalist is Katie Kleyla, an East Coast phenomenon, and an exceptional performer.
Our musicians are some of the best from Rhode Island and the Southcoast of Massachusetts. Concerts on the lawn, concert halls, and Newport mansions are just a few of the venues you can find us delighting our fans. Classic and modern jazz, contemporary hits and swing dance music, are just a few examples of our repertoire. We perform at private events, concert halls, and anywhere great music is appreciated.
