BID OPENING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2025, AT 11:00AM

The City of East Providence is actively seeking qualified, licensed contractors to provide emergency securing and board-up services for private houses and other structures within City limits on a rotating call list per the City’s rates. Board-up services are needed by the City for City and/or privately owned structures caused by fire, vehicle accident, vandalism, trespassing and related activities, natural disaster, and/or other causes.
There will be an optional pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00am in Conference Room A, at East Providence City Hall, located at 145 Taunton Ave, East Providence, RI 02914.

One (1) original, one (1) copy and 1 Thumb Drive of the proposal shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Jessica Lamprey, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2025, AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly opened and recorded that same day in Conference Room A, located on the first floor of East Providence City Hall. Bids received at a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFP EP24/25-021 Emergency Board Up Services Rotating Call List.
The City reserves the right to waive any informality in order to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
