RIVERSIDE SQUARE LIGHTING
BID OPENING THURSDAY DECEMBER 22, 2022 AT 11:00AM

The City of East Providence is soliciting proposals from electrical contractors to provide and install area string lighting with poles along the East Bay Bike Path in Riverside Square.

The required construction services shall include all permitting and site work including but not limited to erosion controls, trenching, augering, digging, meter installations, installation of new light poles, pole foundations (either poured in place or pre-cast), outlet installations, lighting controls, timers, electric service panel, cabinet and control panel installation, electric hand holes and pull boxes, mount light poles on bases, wire, lights, etc., general construction and safe work practices, equipment, labor, and materials as necessary to complete this project.

Four (4) copies of a proposal and 1 Thumb Drive shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Ralph Mitchell, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than THURSDAY DECEMBER 22, 2022 AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked BID EP22/23-01.

The City reserves the right to waive any informality in order to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
