BID OPENING THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2022 AT 11:00AM

The City of East Providence (City) requests proposals to build out a broadband municipal network. The City requests the feasibility study to begin as soon as possible upon receiving a Notice to Proceed and to be completed no later than September 1, 2022. The City is soliciting responses from qualified network consulting firms that have extensive experience working together with towns and cities on strategic network planning, financial analysis, and community relations. Four (4) copies of proposals shall be submitted in one (1) sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Luis Olmo, Acting Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2022 AT 11:00AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFP EP21/22-08.

The City reserves the right to reject any/or all companies, to waive any informality in the proposal statement and to accept the proposal of any company based on what the City deems to be in its best interest.
