NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Land Development Project - Preliminary Plan Submission

330, 350 and 354 Taunton Avenue

Location: Map 306, Block 1, Parcels 12.1, 13, and 14

 

A public hearing will be held by the East Providence Planning Board on Monday December 11th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 306, third floor, City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence for a Land Development Project Preliminary Plan submission proposing to convert 330, 350, and 354 Taunton Avenue into 144 affordable apartments, 10,000-square feet of community space, offices for project partners and onsite property management and leasing.

 

The project received Master Plan approval at the July 10th, 2023 Planning Board meeting. The property is referenced as Map 306, Block 1, Parcels 12.1, 13, and 14 containing approximately 2.78 acres. The site is currently vacant, with one existing structure on 350 Taunton Ave which formerly served as dormitory housing. The property is currently zoned Commercial-2 and Commercial-3 and is located in the Taunton Avenue Mixed Use Overlay District. The applicant and owner is ONE Neighborhood Builders.

 

Plans and other materials may be examined in the Office of the Department of Planning and Economic Development, City Hall, Room 309, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The proposed development plan may be revised with the permission of the Planning Board as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing.
