Executive Mayoral Aide, Marlene Davis

Marlene Davis, who joined the mayor’s office in March 2019 as a part-time confidential secretary, became mayor’s executive mayoral aide in October 2019. She is responsible for providing a wide array of complex, diverse and confidential support services to the mayor in a rapidly-changing environment. In addition to serving the mayor, Davis also provides support to the director of administration, assists constituents and helps with the day-to-day operations and activities in the Mayor's Office.

Prior to joining the City of East Providence, Davis managed a family-owned floor covering business.Davis, an East Providence resident, is an East Providence Youth Soccer Association board member and previously served as a board member of the Whiteknact Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Davis is certified in Business Management.

When she is not working, you can find her volunteering her time and spending her days with family and friends.
