EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The East Providence Public Works Department, Recycling/Refuse Division announces that all household rubbish, regularly collected on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, will be collected on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, due to the Christmas Holiday. Collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed one day. Household rubbish and recycling, regularly collected on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, will be collected on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 due to the New Year holiday. Collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed one day. Regular collections will resume the week of Jan. 5, 2026. Residents are asked to have all materials at the curb by 6 a.m. on the day of collection.
