Rubbish collection change for Independence Day
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the July 4th Independence Day Holiday being observed on Monday, July 5, 2021 there will be no rubbish, recycling or yard waste collection on Monday, July 5, 2021. Monday’s rubbish, recycling and yard waste will be collected on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 and collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. Residents are asked to have containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.
Bulky item collection remains the same, collection Friday, July 9, 2021.
