EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the Blizzard of 2026, and a scheduling conflict with the City’s rubbish collection vendor, MEGA, there will be no recycling collection the week of March 2nd through March 6th.
The Department of Public Works located at 60 Commercial Way will be accepting recycling drop-offs through next week from 7:30AM to 3:00PM to help alleviate burdened bins.
We understand that this is an inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and patience as we continue to navigate through this unprecedented period.
