The City of East Providence is notifying residents that the city will be lifting the parking ban for commercial corridors such as, but not limited to Warren Avenue, Taunton Avenue, Bullocks Point Avenue, Broadway and state maintained roads, starting Saturday, February 28th at 4PM.
Please note, that the citywide parking ban IS STILL in effect in neighborhood, interior residential streets and will remain until Sunday March 1st at 9pm, as East Providence Department of Public Work crews are still working diligently to widen city side streets. The city continues to utilize state and out of state equipment.
Public parking lots will be made available for residents to have off-street parking. Vehicles must be moved from public parking lots one hour after the parking ban has been lifted. Police will be enforcing the parking ban.
Visit EastProvidenceRI.Gov for more information.
Thank you for your patience and diligence in this matter.
Stay well, stay safe.
