The city's contractor, Pawtucket Hot Mix Asphalt Inc.(PHMA), will pave Woodbine Street and Plum Road today. National Grid’s road Contactor, J.H. Lynch postponed the milling operations in the Colony Road, Grassy Plain and Monmouth Drive neighborhood to Tuesday, Sept. 3 and will pave beginning Sept. 4. During construction the roads may be closed, except for local traffic. Motor vehicle access to residents' properties may be limited or restricted for brief periods of time during construction. The hours of construction will typically be from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although longer hours and weekend work may be required to complete the project in a timely manner. Temporary “NO PARKING” signs will be posted along these roads and will be enforced during the hours of construction. Parking will be permitted outside of construction hours.
