If not removed, graffiti can cause blight; increase criminal activity in the surrounding neighborhoods; reduce property values; and give the impression that the City is not committed to providing clean and safe environments for residents and visitors. The City is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all. To help achieve this goal, the Department of Public Works (DPW) seeks your permission to remove graffiti from your property. I give permission to the City of East Providence and its agents to enter my property to remove or cover the graffiti using methods upon which the City of East Providence and its agents decide. I release and waive any and all claims of liability against the City of East Providence and its agents for any claims or damages related to the graffiti work performed on my property. I understand that only the area covered by graffiti will be cleaned or painted and not the entire structure.
