EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – The East Providence Recreation Department announces free “Introduction to American Mah Jongg” classes, offering a fun and engaging opportunity to learn this classic tile-based game.
The class will take place on Tuesday, May 5 – June 23,2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Providence Senior Center, 610 Waterman Avenue.
Mah Jongg is a strategic and social game that combines skill, strategy, and a bit of luck. While it may take time to master, beginners are encouraged to join and experience the fundamentals in a welcoming and supportive environment. All equipment, including Mah Jongg sets, will be provided. Each set accommodates up to four players.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance, as space is limited. Registration is available online at eastprovidence.recdesk.com.
