Rubbish collection change for Independence Day
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the July 4th Independence Day Holiday on Thursday, July 4, 2024 there will be no rubbish, recycling or yard waste collection. Thursday’s rubbish, recycling and yard waste will be collected on Friday, July 5, 2024 and collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. Residents are asked to have containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.
Bulky item collection remains the same, collection Friday, July 5, 2024.
