Rubbish collection change for Juneteenth
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The City of East Providence Dept. of Public Works has announced that due to the Juneteenth holiday there will be no rubbish, recycling and yard waste collection on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Wednesday’s rubbish, recycling and yard waste will be collected on Thursday, June 20, 2024 and rubbish, recycling and yard waste collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day. Residents are asked to have rubbish, recycling and yard waste containers at the curb by 6 a.m. for collection.
Bulky item collection remains the same, collection Friday, June 21, 2024.
