Good afternoon, this is a message from Mayor Bob DaSilva.
Due to the impending storm a parking ban will be in effect beginning TONIGHT, Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at 11 PM and will remain in place until further notice.
If you do not have a place to park your vehicle, a number of public parking lots will remain open for your vehicle. Please visit the city’s website at eastprovidenceri.gov for the full list of locations.
Please note that if your vehicle is not removed during the parking ban you are at risk of being ticketed and the car towed. Vehicles must be removed within two hours after the ban has been lifted.
Trash collection will remain as scheduled due to the one-day delay caused by the Monday holiday. We ask residents to place trash barrels on the curb and off the road to allow plows to clear snow from curb to curb.
Please visit the city’s website as well as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for complete storm-related updates.
