January 7, 2022 Snowstorm Update
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – Good afternoon, this is a message from Mayor Bob DaSilva.
Due to the impending storm a parking ban will be in effect beginning TONIGHT, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 at 11:30PM and will remain in place until further notice.
If you do not have a place to park your vehicle, a number of public parking lots will remain open for your vehicle. Please visit the city’s website at eastprovidenceri.gov for the full list of locations.
Please note that if your vehicle is not removed during the parking ban you are at risk of being ticketed and the car towed. Vehicles must be removed within two hours after the ban has been lifted.
In addition, if Friday is your regular rubbish and recycling collection day, please note that collection will be delayed until Saturday, Jan. 8. All scheduled collection of bulk items for Friday, Jan. 7, will be rescheduled to Friday, Jan. 14.
